Football Recap: Evans Falls Short of Seminole in the Playoffs

Evans and Seminole squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Evans had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Seminoles by a score of 8-6.

Even if they lost, Evans' defense still kept up the pressure with 16 sacks. In that department, Breanna Rowland was the leader with 15. Gabbriell Chambers was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making six total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Evans' defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Seminole, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

Evans does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seminole, they have already played their next match, a 31-0 loss against Ocoee on the 15th.
