North Kingstown is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against St. Mary Academy-Bay View as North Kingstown made off with a 66-40 victory. The Skippers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 24 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Jaelyn Holmes, who to rack up 27 points and four steals. Her evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Shea Kalin, who en route to 16 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Westerly faced Moses Brown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Westerly took down Moses Brown 52-35. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.
Westerly found their leader in freshman Ella Reyes, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 11 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Reyes has scored all season. Madison Pellegrino was another key player, putting up seven points and ten rebounds.
Westerly smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 15 consecutive games.
Westerly's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points over those games. As for North Kingstown, their victory bumped their record up to 22-1.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: North Kingstown has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 30.7 boards per game. However, it's not like Westerly struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
North Kingstown beat Westerly 50-39 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Kingstown since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
