Casteel is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Sierra Vista. The Casteel Colts walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions. The win was familiar territory for the Colts, who have now won three contests in a row.

Stratton Evans paced Casteel's offense, picking up six kills. Evans got some help from Nathan Lind and his nine assists. Jack Telford controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Casteel's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Sierra Vista, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Casteel has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Basic on the 1st. As for Sierra Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Palo Verde on the 1st.
