Shore - A South Top Player Performances of the Week

Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Friday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!

A Season-Best Performance from Jason Lajara Leads Brick Memorial over Jackson Memorial

Brick Memorial was led to victory by Jason Lajara, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Lajara rushed for 128 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 226 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September. He is becoming a predictor of Brick Memorial's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Jackson Memorial had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Lajara it was a similar story. Two weeks ago (the last time Lajara saw the Jaguars), he rushed for 62 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 133 yards and a touchdown.
