Basketball Recap: Maricopa Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Maricopa had won two straight home games and Michael Grysko did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Maricopa Indians enjoyed a cozy 34-17 victory over the Coast Union Broncos thanks in part to Grysko, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (four).

Diego Rivera was another key player, putting up four points and eight rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Maricopa's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Coast Union, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maricopa will welcome Shandon at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coast Union, they will host Valley Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
