Basketball Game Preview: Holton Wildcats vs. Riley County Falcons

The Holton Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Riley County Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Holton turned things around against Jackson Heights on Saturday. They took down the Cobras 41-24. That 17 point margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Meanwhile, Riley County posted their biggest victory since February 19, 2024 on Saturday. They blew past Eureka 51-24. The win was some much needed relief for the Falcons as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Riley County's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Holton, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-8.
