Volleyball Recap: Century Comes Up Short

If Century was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Blackfoot last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Diamondbacks lost 3-0 to the Highland Rams on Tuesday. The Diamondbacks were not able to make up for their loss to the Rams from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

While Century was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-19.

Jaycie Homer was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 18 assists and three digs. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last five times she's played. Bella Mickelsen also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Century now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Highland, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, Century will take on Hillcrest in a tournament on Friday. As for Highland, they will venture away from home to take on Canyon Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
