Monrovia won the last time they faced Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bulldogs blew past the Raiders 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-12.

Derby P. Gilkerson paced Monrovia's offense, picking up 20 kills. Gilkerson got some help from Maddox Miller and his 29 assists. Miller was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Monrovia's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Monrovia is set to take on their familiar foe Greenwood Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter will square off against rival Indianapolis Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
