Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Blanche Ely walked away with it. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 101-71 victory over the Atlantic Eagles. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Blanche Ely's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but DYLON HANNA led the charge by as he made all 9 shots he took to post 26 points along with five rebounds and three steals. HANNA is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 11 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was JAYELEN JONAS, who shot 4-for-4 from long range and almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine boards.

Blanche Ely was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Atlantic still got an impressive performance from James Tillman, who went 8-for-12 from beyond the arc to rack up 24 points and six rebounds. That's the most boards Tillman has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Richard, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Blanche Ely and bumps their season record up to 15-9. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.5 points. As for Atlantic, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

Blanche Ely wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 77-22 victory against American on the 12th. As for Atlantic, they have also already played their next matchup, a 72-54 loss against Pembroke Pines Charter on the 12th.
