McMinn Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Roane County, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, McMinn Central will venture away from home to take on McMinn County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. McMinn County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.17 runs per game on average), something McMinn Central will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Roane County, they will take on Meigs County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
