Basketball Recap: New Bern Christian Academy Now 12-1 over Last 13 Games

New Bern Christian Academy extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from KC Peter. New Bern Christian Academy secured a 44-38 W over the Trinity Christian Tigers on Friday thanks in part to Peter, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Trinity Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Drew Williams, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 12 points and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian LoPresti, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds.

New Bern Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Trinity Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Bern Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Jacksonville Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity Christian, they will face off against Greenville Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
