Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shikellamy). Everything went their way against the Milton Black Panthers on Friday as they made off with a 14-4 victory. This was payback for the Braves, who suffered an 8-7 loss the last time these two teams met.

Nate Strausser was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Kurtz, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one double.

Shikellamy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They are 2-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The win made it two in a row for Shikellamy and bumps their season record up to 4-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Milton, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Shikellamy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Selinsgrove on the 5th. As for Milton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Athens on the 5th.
