            Softball Preview: Cascade Bruins vs. Kamiak Knights        
        
		
        
        
            Cascade is 1-9 against Kamiak since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Bruins will head out to  take on the Knights  at 4:00  p.m. Cascade is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2  runs per game  this season.
Cascade and Glacier Peak faced off in a Battle of the Bears  on Friday. The Bruins fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of  5-4.
  Tessa Hahn made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.  Marisa Molina also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Kamiak didn't have quite enough to beat Jackson on Friday and fell  5-4.
  Emma Stansfield was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with one  home run, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Kamiak, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-6.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Tuesday. Cascade hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.7  home runs per game. However, it's not like Kamiak struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 0.5  home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
 Cascade might still be hurting after the  6-0 loss they got from Kamiak  when the teams last played  back in April. Can the Bruins avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
