Canyon is 9-0-1 against Judson since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Canyon Cougars will venture away from home to take on the Judson Rockets at 7:00 p.m. Canyon's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

If Judson heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Canyon took over last week. Canyon narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past East Central 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Judson didn't have quite enough to beat San Marcos on Friday and fell 2-1. The Rockets have struggled against the Rattlers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Canyon's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 7-3-2. As for Judson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-4.

Canyon took their win against Judson in their previous matchup back in March of 2020 by a conclusive 4-1. Does Canyon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Judson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
