Softball Recap: Johnson Warriors vs. Fairfield Falcons

Johnson had won three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they bumped up to 8-9 to make it four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Fairfield Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since February 26, 2025.

Angelene Gonzales made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk).
