Basketball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Chamberlain Storm, falling 64-43. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 714th, while the Storm are ranked 301st).

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Chamberlain, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Jefferson and Wharton will face off at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Chamberlain, they will be playing at home against Riverview at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
