Soccer Game Preview: Habersham Central vs. Lee County

The Habersham Central Raiders will face off against the Lee County Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lee County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Habersham Central, who comes in off a win.

Lee County will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Habersham Central extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Raiders never let Peachtree Ridge get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for Habersham Central, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lee County's offense. They came up short against Thomasville on Tuesday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Lee County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 228th, while Thomasville are ranked 76th).

Habersham Central's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Lee County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
