Adam Holloway turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Thursday. He struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He was dominant the last time he took on Heritage on Tuesday, so they probably should've seen this coming. Holloway also tossed no walks, which is notable because Woodside is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 2-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Holloway and Woodside will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Grassfield at 1:00 p.m. The Wolverines will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 123 places lower in Virginia), but they're not letting that get them down.
