Granada's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They skirted past the Dublin Gaels 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Matadors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Granada had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 20-25, 25-21, 29-27, 15-12.

Granada's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. As for Dublin, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Dublin will be playing at home against Castro Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Granada will be paying especially close attention to the Gaels' contest: after the Gaels face off against the Trojans, they'll take on Granada again at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
