Meanwhile, Northgate had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Cardinals 54-52. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since December 6, 2024.

Northgate has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for McIntosh, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
