Baseball Recap: Bellevue East Comes Up Short

The Chieftains fell 8-3 to the Omaha Westside Warriors on Monday. The Chieftains have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Bellevue East's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Omaha Westside, they pushed their record up to 5-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Bellevue East didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-0 victory against Benson on the 16th. As for Omaha Westside, they will take on Buena Vista at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
