South Beloit came out on top against Alden-Hebron on Tuesday thanks in part to Zach Baker's efforts. Baker went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, which was good enough to set a new career-high in hits.

Baker's strong effort led South Beloit over Alden-Hebron and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Sobos have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since May of 2021, but a win here would be a good start.
