Softball Preview: Ticonderoga Sentinels vs. Boquet Valley Griffins
After two games on the road, Ticonderoga is heading back home. They will take on the Boquet Valley Griffins at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Myleigh Drinkwine made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Drinkwine has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than seven innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. Drinkwine was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Boquet Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Chazy on Wednesday, taking the game 14-10. The win made it back-to-back victories for Boquet Valley.
Ticonderoga pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Boquet Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
