Hurricane suffers third straight loss on the road

Recap: Hurricane Tigers vs. Green Canyon Wolves

The Hurricane Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Green Canyon 76-42. Hurricane found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and rack up eight fewer assists than your opponent.

Despite the defeat, Hurricane had strong showings from Brigham Kemp, who scored 13 points, and Cayleb Jackman, who scored 8 points along with 13 rebounds and 6 blocks. Jackman is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rj Hurst, who scored 7 points.

Green Canyon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jared Anderson, who scored 18 points. The match was Anderson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jackson Penigar was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 3 steals.

Hurricane bumped their record down to 2-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Green Canyon, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Hurricane will be playing in front of their home fans against Virgin Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Green Canyon, they will head out on the road to face off against Ben Lomond at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
