Football Game Preview: Fauquier Falcons vs. Warren County Wildcats

The Fauquier Falcons will head out to challenge the Warren County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fauquier is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Fauquier duked it out with Skyline on Friday. The Falcons were dealt a 38-7 loss at the hands of the Hawks.

Meanwhile, Warren County never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past Manassas Park 50-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Wildcats' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Warren County's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Fauquier, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-5.

Fauquier came up short against Warren County in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, falling 14-7. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
