Volleyball Recap: Vasquez Comes Up Short

Vasquez entered their matchup against Moreno Valley on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Vasquez Mustangs fell just short of the Moreno Valley Vikings by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Vasquez sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 15-9.

Vasquez's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Moreno Valley, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Vasquez has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Beaumont on the 8th. As for Moreno Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against San Dimas on the 8th.
