Basketball Recap: Petrolia Comes Up Short

Petrolia lost against Windthorst back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Petrolia Pirates took a hard 47-31 fall against the Windthorst Trojans. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Petrolia's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Windthorst, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5.

Petrolia will be taking part in a tournament against Gunter at 2:20 p.m. on Thursday. Gunter will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Petrolia surely won't give up without a fight. As for Windthorst, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Crowell at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
