The Panther Creek Catamounts will square off against the Jordan Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Panther Creek took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They snuck past Green Hope with a 24-20 victory. The Catamounts haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Travis Woodard had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 102 yards and two scores. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.
Another reason for the win was Panther Creek's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jaysen Oriol and Edwin Akpu, who racked up five sacks between them. Another thorn in Green Hope's side was Darius Smith, who picked up a sack and made nine total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Falcons last Friday. Jordan took their game with ease, bagging a 48-14 victory over Green Hope. Jordan might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Jordan's win came from a few key players Panther Creek will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Landon Melton, who threw for 185 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in November of 2024. Damien Hayes was another key player, rushing for 85 yards and a pair of scores.
Jordan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ezkiel Stokes and Aiden Pazdzior. Jordan got some further help from Noah Clark: he picked up two sacks, made six total tackles, and defended one pass.
Panther Creek's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Jordan, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
Panther Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Jordan in their previous matchup back in September of 2022, winning 35-27. Do the Catamounts have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
