Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Banneker

Banneker had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the South Atlanta Hornets by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Banneker was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-1.

Amie Bojang was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had five aces.

Banneker's record is now 3-1. As for South Atlanta, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Banneker will face off against Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Atlanta, they will square off against Douglass at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
