Baseball Recap: Hill School Rams vs. Peddie Falcons

Hill School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Peddie Falcons. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Hill School got a good showing from Luke Massimi, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Gavin Rushin and Joey Moore did some serious damage despite the final result: Rushin went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Moore went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Rushin has brought in this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Moore, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Hill School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Peddie, they pushed their record up to 8-1-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
