While Reedley's win against Torres wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Reedley came out on top in a nail-biter against Torres on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Toros recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Jared Bonds paced Reedley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bonds got some help from Adrian Vargas and his 29 assists. Vargas was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Reedley now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Torres, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-17.

Reedley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Madera South on the 21st. As for Torres, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Reedley on the 21st.
