A Season-Best Effort from Jake Morrow Leads Grand Blanc over Davison

Jake Morrow produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Grand Blanc to the win on Friday. Morrow threw for 404 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 16.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Grand Blanc, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. Morrow and Grand Blanc will look to defend their home field on Friday against Romeo at 7:00 p.m.

Dosh Posts Huge Game in 55-49 Loss

Davison was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Jaxson Dosh did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Dosh as he threw for 393 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 16.4 yards per attempt, and also punched in two rushing scores.

Davison's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. Dosh will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Lapeer on Friday.

Caseton Sendry Delivers Best Effort of Season

Caseton Sendry produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Grand Blanc to the win on Friday. Sendry picked up 170 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for eight yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 65 yards.

On the season, Sendry has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 53.6 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he had one receiving touchdown.

Hill Made His Presence Known in Davison's 55-49 Loss

The second Davison player making an appearance here is Aj Hill, and for good reason. He rushed for 174 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.3 yards per carry.

Hill is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Lapeer on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Hill saw the Lightning), he rushed for 245 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per carry.
