Soccer Recap: Appleton West Takes a Loss

Appleton West and Appleton East faced off in a cross-town battle on Tuesday. The Terrors came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Appleton West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 160th, while Appleton East are ranked 46th).

Appleton West's loss dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for Appleton East, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Appleton West will venture away from home to face off against Gibraltar at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Appleton East, they will head out to challenge Appleton North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
