Basketball Recap: Kempsville Takes a Loss

Kempsville was the 39-31 winner over Landstown when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Kempsville Chiefs fell 53-41 to the Landstown Eagles on Friday. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kempsville now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Landstown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Coming up, Kempsville will face off against Ocean Lakes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Landstown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Indian River at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
