Basketball Recap: Warrenton Comes Up Short

Warrenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were beaten by the Banks Braves 79-27. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 206th, while the Braves are ranked 16th).

Warrenton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Banks, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rainier the next time they take the court. Banks will head out to face Rainier at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Warrenton will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
