Jackson-Milton not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 19, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the McKinley Trojans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won five in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Jackson-Milton took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-14, 25-9.

Emma Johns paced Jackson-Milton's offense, picking up nine kills. Johns really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 17. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Jackson-Milton now has a winning record of 2-1. As for McKinley, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Jackson-Milton will face off against Mathews at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for McKinley, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on September 2.
