Soccer Recap: Covenant Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against South Lafourche

After failing to score in their last contest, Covenant Christian Academy made sure to put some goals up on the board against South Lafourche on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the South Lafourche Tarpons as they made off with a 5-1 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by four goals or more this season.

They hit South Lafourche with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Owen Trosclair (2), Carsen Hebert (2), and Dalton Dupre.

Covenant Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-2-2. As for South Lafourche, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Covenant Christian Academy will head out to square off against West Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Jefferson's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for South Lafourche, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central Lafourche at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
