The Jay Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Nixon Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jay will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Jay's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Cigarroa, posting a 49-0 victory at home. With that win, the Mustangs brought their scoring average up to 29 points per game.

The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Mustangs with their most commanding win of the season.
Among those leading the charge was Humberto Silva, who picked up 115 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Nixon wouldn't let Winn keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Franko Cruz, Ramon Hernandez, Eduardo Munoz, and Ryan Cruz picked up one apiece. Hernandez is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season.
Jay pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Nixon, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
