Jefferson had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Whitewater Whippets. Considering the Eagles have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Whitewater, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.
