Soccer Recap: Roma Comes Up Short

Roma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Palmview Lobos. While losing is never fun, the Gladiators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 733rd, while the Lobos are ranked 296th).

Roma's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Palmview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Roma will square off against Rio Grande City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palmview, they will take on Martin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
