After a string of five wins, Aubrey Rogers's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lemon Bay Manta Rays. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Manta Rays earlier this season, when they won 5-3.

Alex Peters made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Christian Arias, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Aubrey Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Lemon Bay, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches.
