Basketball Recap: Jamestown Takes a Loss

Jamestown lost against Glasgow back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Jamestown took a 70-54 bruising from the Glasgow Yellowjackets. While losing is never fun, Jamestown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 497th, while Glasgow is ranked 210th).

Jamestown has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Glasgow, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Jamestown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-60 win against Sweet Springs on the 29th. Glasgow has also already played their next game (against Blair Oaks), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
