Basketball Game Preview: Plainview Indians vs. Chickasha Fighting Chicks

The Plainview Indians will face off against the Chickasha Fighting Chicks at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Back in December of 2024, Plainview lost to Ada on the road by a 51-33 margin. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Chickasha came up short against Kingfisher on Tuesday and fell 53-40.

Plainview now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Chickasha, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Plainview strolled past Chickasha in their previous matchup back in December of 2018 by a score of 67-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Plainview since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
