Preview: Meadow Bridge Wildcats vs. Bath County Chargers
The Meadow Bridge Wildcats will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Bath County Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on December 29th. Hopefully Meadow Bridge is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bath County in their respective states (Meadow Bridge is ranked 115th in West Virginia, while Bath County is ranked 401st in Virginia).
Last Friday, Meadow Bridge was beaten by Greenbrier West 88-38.
Meanwhile, Bath County strolled past James River with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 60-46. The win was just what Bath County needed coming off of a 66-42 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meadow Bridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bath County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
Meadow Bridge took a serious blow against Bath County in their previous meeting on December 5th, falling 81-49. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Meadow Bridge was down 43-21.
