Football Recap: Interlachen Falls Despite Big Games from Lawrence Sharp and Ben Aguayo + How To Watch

Interlachen lost against Bell back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams took a 41-24 bruising from the Bulldogs. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Interlachen's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ben Aguayo, who threw for 112 yards and three TDs, and Lawrence Sharp, who picked up 81 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Aguayo's passing game has become a key predictor of the Rams' success: the team is 2-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-5 otherwise.

Landin Williams was his usual excellent self, rushing for 174 yards and four scores for Bell. Williams' rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards. Rj Leffler was another key player, rushing for 94 yards and one TD on only nine carries.

Interlachen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Bell, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Interlachen will take on Hilliard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will be up against the Red Flashes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.86 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bell, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bishop Snyder at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
