Softball Recap: Kenyon-Wanamingo Takes a Loss

If Kenyon-Wanamingo was feeling good fresh off their 28-3 takedown of Schaeffer Academy on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights lost 17-2 to the Cannon Falls Bombers on Saturday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Bombers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kenyon-Wanamingo now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cannon Falls, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Kenyon-Wanamingo didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-10 defeat against Lake City on the 12th. As for Cannon Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-3 win against Kasson-Mantorville on the 15th.
