Volleyball Recap: Northeast Academy Takes a Loss

Northeast Academy managed to slip by Pungo Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Raiders on Thursday. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

While Northeast Academy was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-22.

Northeast Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Pungo Christian Academy, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.

Northeast Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against The Oakwood School on the 30th. As for Pungo Christian Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Arendell Parrott Academy on the 29th.
