Volleyball Recap: Greybull Buffaloes vs. Big Horn Rams

Greybull was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of the Big Horn Rams by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buffaloes of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Greybull took a 1-0 lead headed into the second set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-14, 15-11.

Big Horn found their leader in underclassman Ava Taylor, who had eight digs and 19 assists. Taylor is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least nine every time she's taken the court this season.

Greybull's loss dropped their record down to 0-5-2. As for Big Horn, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greybull will be staying on the road on September 27th to face off against Rocky Mountain at 5:00 p.m. As for Big Horn, they will have plenty of time to enjoy the win as they don't play again for a while. They'll take on Tongue River at 7:00 p.m. on September 26th.
