Baseball Recap: Midwest Central Comes Up Short

Midwest Central lost to Athens back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Raiders came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-1. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dalton Johnson made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Midwest Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Athens, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Midwest Central will venture away from home to challenge Henry-Senachwine at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Athens, they will head out to face off against Edinburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
