Locust Fork had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They claimed a resounding 81-46 victory over the Hanceville Bulldogs. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

Levi White was his usual excellent self, going 9 for 12 on his way to 24 points and eight rebounds. His morning made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Evan Hatcher, who went 6 of 14 en route to 16 points.

Locust Fork's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.2 points per game. As for Hanceville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.

Locust Fork didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 80-57 victory against Pennington on the 4th. Hanceville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
